April-9-2016---picnic dinner on deerfield beach:

Angie was planning on driving to Atlanta on Sunday, so we decided to have a picnic on the beach Sat. night.  On our way, we stopped at Publix and got sandwiches, chips, and she got a salad.  Paid for 1 1/2 hours parking when we got to the beach and set up just in time to watch the sunset.
Part of the delay was that we passed an accident.  Like I've said before, Florida drivers are different then any drivers I've seen anywhere else! How do you end up upside down on a 4 lane street with speed limit of something like 35 m/h?

It was windy and rather cool for us S. Floridians (about 63), so we didn't stay long.  Headed back up to the boardwalk for a bit hoping the wind would be blocked there.

 But it wasn't, so we ended up leaving an hour before our parking time ran out. 

But it was still great seeing the ocean again.  We haven't gotten here nearly as often as I'd hoped!
