8-18-15 another food truck night:
I forget the name of this park that we went to with the kids for people watching and food truck dining, but it was good.
Even better was the fabulous sunset! One of the best here I've seen yet.
A beautiful evening before we left for our 3 week trip back to St. Louis for a visit.

Oct. 9, 2015---checking out of the Royal Vista and more food trucks
Our short 2 night stay was done. Time to check out. But first, we headed up to the top floor for our "owner update". We actually got told we weren't being fair to the salesmen by the salesman for signing up for it! As hard as they make it to say, "no" before they give you a parking pass, now we were given a hard time for signing up for it. Whatever---we let him try to sell us some more points, took our $125 gift card and were on our way.
View of the Wyndham Santa Barbara from the top floor of the Royal Vista. I hear it's a really nice resort, but we've never been to that Wyndham.
riding around making our way to Sunshine Bagel.
Did I mention how much I love palm trees?!
love all the different architecture around, too.
Had to have another lunch at Sunshine bagel before heading back to Coral Springs.
Even saw this guy wandering around on the grass not too far from Sunshine Bagel.
After lunch we went back to Coral Springs and waited for dinner time. Then went to the grand opening of the Coral Springs Art Walk and some food trucks.
Josh pretending to play a saxaphone.
the only art we saw here.
our food truck---bctacos!
I love the T-Rex (although I don't see how a chicken can be a T-Rex)!
Even ran across an employee and friends of Josh's. I got to meet and thank the young man who helped them move all our furniture up into our 2nd floor apartment.
Time to chow down!
then the rains came and we left.

July 25, 2015 Eats and Beats in Parkland
We like going to the food trucks and eating dinner while people watching. At least Angie, Josh and I like to. Ken just goes. They had the food trucks up in Parkland not too far from us a couple times this summer. We made it to this one. They even had a couple musicians performing during the evening. While we were there it was 2 sisters. One played the guitar and the other one sang. They were very good!
wandering around the trucks.
I thought the skirt steak dinner sounded good. Unfortunately, the skirt steak was inedible! Hope it was just a one time thing for their sake. But the sides were good.
We were there pretty early. A lot more people came by the time we left. Another fun evening.
